About T.K.: Taylor Keller, (better known as "T.K.") is an inspirational Hip Hop artist from Caroline County, VA. Using his own experiences, he creates music about overcoming many tough obstacles in life. These experiences include addiction, incarceration, anxiety, depression etc. T.K. says that he continues to write music to help others as well as himself. T.K. has been in and out of jails and institutions since the age of 12. Ultimately, he has spent well over 3 years of his young life incarcerated. His first arrest was in Middle School, resulting from distribution of narcotics on school grounds. At age 14, he went on his 1st high speed chase with a classmate from his high school. The rebellious cycle continued within the years following. T.K.'s last incarceration was in 2011, and the result of yet another speed chase involving his father's car and the assault of a law enforcement officer. He was under the influence of multiple illegal narcotics and near death from alcohol poisoning. As a result from that incident, T.K. spent 18 hours a day for 16 months in a jail cell. After his release from jail, T.K left his "friends" and the life he once knew behind him. Wanting to escape from his previous lifestyle, he used a method that had previously worked for him throughout his life, writing songs. He put all of his emotions on paper and began recording with his life long friend, K-Shay. Since then, T.K. has released 3 albums, 2 EPs and 3 "Remixtapes". T.K. gives the credit of his life change to Hip Hop, and has been sober since 04/04/2011.
