He worked primarily on the Street-Team as a junior publicist, promoting artists such as Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, The Lox, and Notorious B.I.G. Steve “FACE” Riley promoted the hit records of Notorious B.I.G's 'Juicy" and Craig Mack "Flava in ya Ear" which helped put Bad Boy Records on the map as we know it today. Steve “FACE” Riley also has served as Creative Director at Billboard Magazine, Head of A&R at Atlanta based independent record label Rimm Global Media Corp/Universal Music Group, and former President/Director of Operations of Indie Music Factory/InGrooves-Fontana/Universal. Steve “Face” Riley has managed platinum producers IRV Gotti of Murder Inc, Producer Easy Moe Bee (produced some of Notorious B.I.G. Greatest hits), and managed award-winning artist Se' Von (2013 Georgia Music Awards Winner for “Best Male Hip Hop Artist). Steve “FACE” Riley negotiated Se'Von a major licensing deal with Turner Broadcasting for the 2012 NBA playoffs for his hit song “Long Road’. Steve “FACE” Riley is also the former manager of musical score producers Dark Room Productions. Steve Riley successfully negotiated a multi-million-dollar deal for Darkroom productions to score HBO's hit series “The Wire.” Steve “FACE” Riley is also a former publicist for Jodeci, 112, Total, Jada Kiss etc. and has worked with legendary platinum selling artist Kurtis Blow, helping produce the song and video tribute to 911 “Still Here” by The Klan featuring Kurtis Blow.
