From Sean Sundance: I've been producing about 5 years now. I originally come from Los Angeles, California, but I've been living in the DMV area for about 11 years.. I was always musical, but it wasnt until 2004 that I got serious about music production. It all began when I saw an issue of Scratch Magazine in a grocery store with Kanye on the cover. I bought the mag, and loved it so much that I bought ever issue after that until the magazine folded in 2007. Throughout my production career, I've had an identity crisis, going by MANY names like Ethireal, Sean Biggums, SeanTheReal & Sean Sundance. I play the piano and bass guitar. My biggest and earliest musical influences were Kanye West, Just Blaze, and Dr. Dre.. My production career started by posting beats on websites like Soundclick, Tightbeatz and the Scratch Magazine message board. I use both software and hardware for music production. You wont hear snappy, commercial beats from me, I base my music on hardcore hip-hop with hard snares and thumpin kicks.. I do both sampled and original work. I'm currently a one-time DMV Beat Clash Champion. I'm currently working on a two-mixtape series called "The Truth Sirum", they should be released later this year, and I'm definitely looking to collab with artist on up coming projects. My goal is truly to take over the production game in New York, but D.C. is my stepping stone. Look for me at your local beat battles and listen out for my beats.
