About Marc iLL: Marc iLL was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in PG County Maryland. Known for witty punch lines and wordplay and commands attention with real heartfelt stories about his personal life, which has drawn comparisons to the likes of J. Cole and Joe Budden. Marc has a bachelor’s degree in graphics design/web design from North Carolina A&T State University. He also played basketball while attending A&T. iLL decided to make the permanent transition from the basketball court to the recording booth after graduating.
