Cero_Mundo@yahoo.comAbout Cero Mundo: Washington DC native, Cero Mundo aka Estevan Palasquesea is of South American descent with the skills to rap in English, Spanish, and notoriously in Spanglish. He lived in Cali, Colombia where he started performing his 1st gigs when he was 16. He interned at a local radio station and performed at the first Cali Hip Hop Festival. He moved back to DC and he formed a group called Trafikantez with another MC based out of Chicago. They recorded with UNIVERSAL artist Los Nandez & G.Cardona and MACHETE MUSIC’s 3Coronas. The group independently toured Colombia with a single, video, and an album “De Calidad Por Cantidad”. In 2005 the group disbanded due to creative differences. After attending Omega Recording school and the Art Institute of Washington DC and recieving guidance from Riverside Entertainment he started his own independent music company “Cero Mundo LLC”. He later released his 1st debut album “Sacrificio” (Production from Crooks Brothers, Tony Vinyl, Golden Chyld, amongst others). The album is on rotation on 97.9FM CPR Radio in Washington D.C. as well as the local College Stations. The album had success with a track called “Nadie Sabe Nada” which was in the Top 10 on Batanga.com Hip Hop Latino charts and is available on itunes,cdbaby,amazon,ect. CERO has been featured in numerous compilations, albums, mixtape’s, and has colaborated with many artists from Chicago, Boston, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and various parts of Latin America. Cero is also affiliated with La Clicka Underground from Medellin, Colombia and has worked with Dj Dee-Cash in promoting partys and events. In early 2008 he dropped his 1st official mixtape “For Spanglish Marka CERO” mixed by Dj Cabezon. The mixtape has recieved good responses from people in the industry such as Pitbull, Peedie Crack, Nore, and Mellow Man Ace. CERO even colaborated with Platinum & Gold recording artist Mellow Man Ace (The Godfather of Latin Rap). He is featured on Mellow Man’s album “La Familia”. CERO teamed up with DJ BOOM from Listen Vision Studios and released his 2nd album “Firme y Paciente”. He is regularly featured at La Conekta events and created an online radio show Moliendo Mix where he interviewed artists such as (Sensato, Temperamento, Sick Jacken, amongst others). He is consistently on the grind and his buzz continues to flood the streets. He released a single “Chicha” which was featured on UNIVISION. He remains to be one of the most humble artists in the DMV area and is currently working on his next project “Desprogramado/Conektado”.
